Polls for OBS

Starting in version 3.0.1, there will be a new web page to display an active chart of your ongoing polls with PhantomBot. This can also be displayed in OBS as a browser source.

Getting started:

The page for this is available at http://localhost:25000/obs/poll-chart

To add this as a browser source in OBS, simply click the + button under sources, and add a new browser, name it, and paste the URL above (be sure to update the port and localhost part if you’re hosting the bot on a server).

Extra options:

The poll alerts page has a few settings that can be changed by passing the option in the URL with a query search. Here’s an example http://localhost:25000/obs/poll-chart?option=value . You can also pass multiple query searches like this http://localhost:25000/poll-chart?option1=value1&option2=value2

The alerts page currently has two options available, more might come in the future. Here are the options:

slideFromOpen - This sets where the chart slides from when a new poll is created (Default is right options are: right, left, top, bottom)
slideFromClose - This sets where the chart slides from when a new poll ends (Default is right options are: right, left, top, bottom)

Once you have your settings set your liking in the URL, it can look like this example

http://localhost:25000/obs/poll-chart?slideFromOpen=left&slideFromClose=bottom
